Sin Forma Mixed Media

Sin Forma was born from the tension between self-recognition and fragmentation—the inability to see oneself clearly, and the need to seek reflection in others.

The project began as a letter to that disconnection, exploring how blurred identity and emotional detachment manifest visually through light, shadow, and contrast.

The challenge was conceptual and material: how to represent depersonalization. How to externalize an internal void through color, distortion, and digital intervention.

The series combines photography, acrylic paint, digital manipulation, text fragments, and AI-generated elements into layered compositions that oscillate between abstraction and figuration.
Color acts as emotional language—vivid tones dissolve into grayscale, mirroring the shifting perception of self.
By intentionally erasing or distorting silhouettes, the works evoke the instability of identity: figures that exist between recognition and disappearance.

Each piece became a study in contrast—presence against absence, saturation against silence—where the image resists definition but demands empathy.
The combination of physical and digital mediums allowed me to blur not only form, but authorship—questioning what it means to “see” oneself through tools that reinterpret reality.
What emerged was not resolution, but resonance: a space where disconnection could be observed, felt, and perhaps understood.
Every piece carries both the chaos and tenderness of rebuilding identity through the act of making.
